As of October 2002, the treatment utility project employs eight consultants
and has served 11 children and their teachers within the Madison Metropolitan
School District. Currently, seven more cases are in progress. We anticipate
completing 32 cases additional by the end of the 2002-2003 school year,
and should begin disseminating results in late Fall, 2003.
Although consultants currently work within the Madison Metropolitan School
District, participation from districts in close proximity to the University
of Wisconsin-Madison is welcome. Recruitment is ongoing, and teachers and
school staff are encouraged to contact the project manager (Elisa Shernoff)or
the Principal Investigators (Professors Tom Kratochwill and Jeff Braden),
or check out the "Participant Information" section of our web
site.
